Ms. Waters’ Class

We are getting our holidays on Friday, April 3rd. One of the boys is going to Lourdes, another boy, Thomas, is in the All Ireland Boxing.But we have our concert for two nights this week, wednesday and Thursday.

So we are off to Wicklow Rugby Club tomorrow, lots of other schools involved.We have come up with our own Hakka…CBS style…fingers crossed that we will do well.

Our class are going to Wicklow on March 25th to play lots of other schools in a rugby competition.We are going as New Zealand…we will even perform the Hakka….

The school will be closed next Tuesday, St.patrick’s Day…YEAH!!! Some of us will be in the parade downtown representing,The Pipe band,Ross Celtic Soccer, Boxing and a soccer skills club. Dean will be marching in the Wexford parade representing New Ross Tae Kwon Do.Our principal will be marching in both parades.

8 more school days to the holidays…. and as you can guess, we are very excited…..very,very,very excited!!

We get two weeks off school, and some of the boys are going to soccer matches in England.Our carol service is next Thursday, so this means that we get the afternoon out of class!!

Welcome to our 6th class

There are 32 in the class, but one of the boys is in Australia at the moment. Our teacher is called Miss Waters, who likes her toast in the morning….

The other teacher in our room is called Miss Mariola, who is from Poland…..she’s lovely, she thinks that we are the best class in the school…..

Our school week is pretty much the same as everyone else’s,but here is a breakdown of our favourite things to do:

Monday: Hurling and swimming.

Wednesday: Going to the library, tag rugby.

Thursday: Golden time(when we are behaved!!)

Friday: Art

Some of the boys do drumming on Monday’s and Friday’s. We also play soccer and  basketball, when we get the chance.

We are getting our Christmas holidays December 23rd…which we think is very late,  Miss Waters also agrees with us…

We are making our Confirmation in March. Also in March we have St.Patrick’s Day, March 17th.This is a free day from school.

Our Easter holidays are in April, and these last for two weeks…..nice!!Our next big event is our school tour, for most of the boys this will be a trip to London.We do this in May and it lasts for 4 days. Hopefully we will get to go to Thorpe park, Wembley, The History Museum, Science Museum and other fun places.The boys that don’t go to London will go to Oakwood in Wales.
